Drowning by The Red Clay Strays
The Red Clay Strays have been my biggest obsession of April. I think I’ve watched the live performance of this song on YouTube about 20 times. They have this incredibly soulful-country sound that I can’t get enough of.

Southbound by Artemis
This song makes me crave a night out. It’s one of those songs that makes you think you can dance better than you actually can and is one that I’ve shamelessly danced to while driving around this month.

She Will by Lil Wayne, Drake
I’ve always been a fan of rap music but haven’t listened to a lot of Lil Wayne, other than his features on those really mainstream hits. This song has made me want to dip into more of his music because of it’s awesome sound.

Savior by Ride Against
Would this be a monthly favourites without a punk-ish, emo song? My Spotify DJ referred to this as a combination of punk and skater-music and honestly, I don’t think I could describe it better. Who knew the AI DJ would know me so well?

Please Don't Go by Wyatt Flores
Country music will forever have my heart, and this song makes me heartbroken for something I’ve never experienced. Sometimes the best songs are the ones that make you relate when you have nothing to relate it to.
